Is Your Gym Clean?

Gym Memberships can cost a lot annually and monthly.

There is no guarantee of success or results, and there is often a lack of experience on the gym floor.

Cleanliness is another top reason to hire a private trainer that is aware of environment and hygiene.

For example, in a health care environment,  like at the hospital where I work,

we are tested each year for HAI prevention.  (Hospital Acquired Infections)

Washing your hands is imperative, everywhere:

Just yesterday, I was discussing prevention cleanliness with a friend.  She suggested “Michele you should tell people about the toxins in their environment, not just what folks eat, but cleaning products, air fresheners, etc.  There are chemical poisons all over our houses!”  Excellent idea!

Today, however,  brought us a gift like no other;  Steamrolled Stuart Little.

I’m a stage snob…I appreciate a clean beautiful space!  I  always teach in a very nice environment.

One of my students beckoned me from the corner of the gym, and she was pointing down on the ground.

There was a bright shiny colored dumbbell on the floor, with a dead rodent stuck to it, like it had been steamrolled.

After an hour of trying to get maintenance to clean it up, the towel folding guy walked over,  peeled off the dead animal and then TOSSED THE DUMBBELL BACK INTO THE BIN WITH THE OTHER DUMBBELLS!Peanuts_lucy_dog_germs

Then he returned to folding towels, without washing his hands.

Yes those towels you wipe your face on!
