Can you put weight while or after working out ? You betcha!
It all comes down to the C word…Congratulations. We can’t congratulate ourselves (input) more than our output (exercise).
One time I did one of those sponsored charity very long bike rides, where you train together for distance, and they had so many fabulous sponsors that followed us around with a van full of food (at each training). Just because you’re riding a bike does that mean you can eat a van full of food? Can you do that every weekend until the big event? That could be 2-5 pounds a week! “Congratulations I rode my bicycle!”
Also, when I was a marathon pace leader, everyone loves to go for waffles after. “Congratulations we did 18 miles!”
Is it easy to overdo it. You betcha.
It’s even easier to get fat if you don’t move at all!
