Want Change? Here’s How.

Want change?  We all have the ability to change and grow.

Leave the old way and find a new way.

There is no need for a magic leader, a magic school, a magic piece of paper, or a magic pill.

We have free will and the ability to make decisions that can dramatically improve our lives.

We become comfortable and that creates resistance to change.  We all know that space.

I know people are not acting on their potential for change and improvement.  For example, look at just how few folks reguarly exercise:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/cdc-80-percent-of-american-adults-dont-get-recommended-exercise/

That means only 20% of people exercise!

Here are some idea of what we can change in our own life and world:

  1. Exercise
  2. Eating better
  3. Hydrating
  4. Eating more veggies (there are plenty of recipes here on EngineeringWellness.com)
  5. Get more sleep
  6. Learning
  7. Write
  8. Make art
  9. Gardening/planting trees
  10. Helping others
  11. Helping the environment (visit LiquidHike.com for ideas)
  12. Helping animals (visit LiquidHike.com for ideas)

This list can go on and on.  Please make your own list.  There are so many more things we can do.

Another example:

Only 2.5% of people are herbivores.  Even after processed meat was declared carcinogenic.

If we want change, we have to put down the bacon and become the change we want to see in the world.  We all know that cancer is horrific and destroys lives, families and finances.

Would you want to work in a slaughterhouse? Not me, thanks.  If the demand for flesh decreases we will also improve the lives of people that work in those traumatic putrid environments.

Growing and learning new things might involve feeling a bit of struggle, and some uncomfortable-ness.  Let me know if I can help.

We are all capable of change.

We are responsible for evolution.

If you really want change, then change.

We can change, and changing improves everyone’s lives.
