Michele the Trainer’s Sexy Creamy* Italian Salad Dressing
Ciao! Be Italian! Find and use your biggest bowl so you have room to MIX.
This dressing boasts a lot of raw organic plant fat. The quality of the ingredients, however, is way better than that fake Italian franchise restaurant salad dressing you like, and much better for you. Due to the richness, I recommend using 2 Tablespoons mixed in well with your chopped Salad Greens. (I used a seriously sexy bowl the size of a bathtub and used 4-6 tablespoons of dressing). After you have tossed the leaves with the dressing then add:
Organic Persian cucumber
Organic Tomato
Organic Shredded or round carrot slices
*To really make this creamy you need a high speed blender to emulsify
Into the blender, add:
¾ cup Bariani Raw Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4-1/2 cup Organic Red Wine Vinegar (less is more!)
One Capful Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
4-6 cloves of Organic Garlic
2-4 Tbsp. Organic Fresh Oregano Leaves
2-4 Tbsp. Organic Fresh Thyme Leaves
Cover well and blend until the dressing turns a solid creamy color.
Then fold in:
Celtic Sea Salt, fine ground, to taste
Organic ground black pepper, to taste
Store and label in small mason jar. Try to MEASURE what you’re using on your salad. If you’re not watching your weight and you want to go crazy, add some high quality organic green or Kalamata olives to the salad that have been preserved in brine (or high quality unheated oil).
