MACA for better Sex in your Smoothie
The post title doesn’t mean we’re having sex in a smoothie, though I’m sure someone on YouTube with an inflatable swimming pool has tried that.
Maca is a superfood from a root that comes to us from Peru. It’s also known as Peruvian Ginseng. The ground root looks not much different than vanilla smoothie powder, but the taste is much different. I love the taste of maca, as is.
The flavor is a unique earthy carmel-y wonderful that reminds me of butterscotch.
It might be a new flavor to you, but if you love it, you will want it again and again.
Is MACA a sexy superfood?

Here’s how to add organic maca powder from the Peruvian plateaus to your smoothie:
Just add maca with (start with 1 tbsp and move to 2 or more if you love it)
Plant milk (Almond milk, etc.) 1 cup per smoothie
Dates or maple syrup
½-1 frozen banana
12 ice cubes (I always use 12—no specific reason)
And then your other stuff, such as:
-Cacao or coco (start with 1 Tbsp.)
or
-Coconut and pineapple (I prefer real coconut water from a real coconut, and you can freeze it ahead of time as shown below)
If you’d like to add some fat, try almond butter, coconut oil or avocado (note: avo only with the cacao smoothie, not with the coconut pineapple option)
