Lentil Quickie

Aye the gentle lentil.  There really is no faster food than sprouted lentils. Food that is actual fuel for our bodies and brains. Directions on sprouting them at home are in my Sexy Salad book on Amazon.com

**Read the entire recipe first**

Buy Sprouted Green Lentils at your local Farmer’s Market (2 scoops)

At home rinse them in filtered water (in a strainer), put aside

Chop 1 organic onion (I like them chopped smaller or sliced much larger, up to you!)

Clean 6-8 cloves of organic garlic, depending on your level of garlic commitment

In a pan on medium heat:

Saute the onion in bit of water—cook the onion to your taste

Stir Stir

Add Lentils

Stir Stir

Press in garlic cloves with garlic press

Stir Stir

Celtic or Himalayan Sea Salt to taste

Stir Stir

Turn off….

Since the lentils are sprouted you only need to WARM them and the entire dish.

You can eat them alone, in a bowl, on a salad, in a wrap, on hummus, on guacamole.   You can add herbs (I love this with parsley or cilantro) or tomatoes too!
