  1. Fall in Love with Being Outside.

Observing nature is always better than watching TV. If summer is too hot for you, then autumn is a great time to revisit outside, enjoy the fall colors and cooler weather, and breathe some great air. The birds would love to see you.

  1. Fall Flavors! Time for cinnamon, apples, squash and how about a Pumpkin Smoothie?

  1. Sweater and a Stroll? How about an after mealtime stroll around the block? Dog or no dog to walk, it’s always nice to take an autumn walk to burn some calories in preparation for the holidays. Make sure you wear warm socks, gloves and hat if needed.

  1. Tea Time! Fall is an excellent season to warm up our tea. We always want to make sure we are drinking enough water, and adding some organic non caffeinated tea to our day is lovely.

  1. Soup and Stretch! Autumn is the best time to have or make some warm squash or potato soup. Stretching is best when we are warmed up. When you’re feeling warm you can do some easy wrist and ankle circles or simple stretches from any sturdy chair. Here is a simple Potato Soup recipe for you:
