Love the Beatles?

George Harrison from The Beatles was a yogi and he produced an album called The Radha Krishna Temple, recorded in Abbey Roads Studio in London 1971, released on the Beatles’ Apple record label (after he released All Things Must Pass in 1970 which also has yogic content). This song is a Sanskrit prayer, possibly the world’s first poem (Dale Allison page 143), and The Radha Krishna Temple album’s version is beautiful, I encourage you to hear it.

I was introduced to this song during my lifelong study of yoga.  That course of study includes ancient India’s Vedic scriptures such as Bhagavad Gita As It Is, and wise graceful teachers who shared this ancient wisdom and philosophy.  What a blessing to be able to share some of these gems with you today. Namaste!

Here are 2 Imperfect Production Recordings (rehearsal, not studio recordings).

Hopefully in 2020 I can record the full song with better equipment:

This one is the entire song, from my cell phone, December 2019. I’m vocals and rhythm guitar with fancy guitar help:

This one is only the intro and first verse, and I’m vocals only with acoustic guitar and bass help, but better recording setup…still an imperfect rehearsal recording:

If you’d like the notation so you can play the song, let me know.
